ABOUT SARAH EDWARDS
Hi, I'm Sarah.
I'm a newborn and family photographer serving the Northwest Chicago suburbs, and I truly believe that the most meaningful photographs are the ones that capture the love, connection, and little moments that make your family uniquely yours.
For over 16 years, I've had the honor of photographing growing families. From sleepy newborn snuggles and tiny fingers to the laughter, chaos, and beautiful connections that unfold as children grow. As a mom myself, I know how quickly these seasons pass and how important it is to preserve them before they become memories.
My photography experience is designed to feel relaxed, personal, and stress-free. Whether we're documenting your baby's first days, updating family portraits, or celebrating a milestone, I want you to feel comfortable, cared for, and fully present with the people you love most. Your only job is to soak in the moment and I’ll take care of the rest.
The safety and comfort of your newborn are always my top priority, and every gallery is thoughtfully curated to provide timeless, heartfelt images you'll treasure for generations.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm usually cheering on my three kids, Ella, Norah, and Logan or spending time with our sweet dog, Honey. I love fitness, gardening, watercolor painting, hiking, and finding beauty in the simple moments of everyday life.
Photography has been part of my story since high school, and it remains one of my greatest joys. It would be an honor to help tell your family's story and create images that feel as beautiful and genuine as the memories themselves.

Each session is a new opportunity to create lasting memories. My current focus is on mini sessions and newborn photography. I want to serve my community by providing affordable sessions that are quick but beautiful and engaging. I strive to go the extra mile and take my time with newborn sessions. They are done in your home but I always love to take them outside to enjoy some fresh air if weather permits. All session will receive fully edited digital downloads and rights to print. NEWBORN SESSION
$500
It is best to capture your sweet baby 5-14 days after birth while they are still nice and sleepy. I prefer to set up in the comfort of your home and will bring everything we need to make some gorgeous photos. Family and sibling lifestyle photos are included in the up to 30 edited digital images. Plan for 2-3 hours for your session since baby will most likely want to eat and cuddle with mom during our time. Patience is one of my specialties so no stressing allowed during our session!
MINI SESSION
$300
Mini sessions are my new obsession and are booked on special dates that I choose. You can expect a fun, high energy session done in 20 minutes. These are perfect for quickly updating your family photos, maternity, milestone or holiday card photos. You will get 20 gorgeous edited images with this session and option to purchase more images that you choose.
